Dr Eleonora Nicoletti
Senior Lecturer in Architecture
Eleonora is a Senior Lecturer in Architecture and an architect. Her area of expertise includes technologies and processes for designs that improve the perceptual quality of spaces as well as buildings' energy performance. After her studies at IUAV University of Venice, Eleonora worked on designs for public spaces in Europe, the United States and Qatar, and completed an interdisciplinary PhD project on designing solar architectural skins for visual engagement. Dr Nicoletti has explored technologies and simulation-based approaches for communicative facade designs oriented towards meeting zero-energy building standards. With a broad research interest in architectural design, media and renewable energy, and a focus on façades, Eleonora welcomes opportunities for collaborative research, including dissertation supervision.
