Research suggests that we have become more and more distant from nature the feeling of disconnected in nature is more apparent for people living in the cities.

The aim of this project is to create a shelter for people in the cities to help them reconnect with nature. The shelter will have openings determined by the viewpoints of an unrestricted view of the skyline. The shape and form of the shelter will be taken from the characteristics of its surrounding area, in order to create a surface. The pattern will be created and applied to the surface. Attractor points will determine the size of the pattern on the surface, the higher points on the shelter will have a larger pattern. This can be used to create different iterations of the pattern to be applied to the surface, with changes in size of the patterns can also determine the size of the opening, in relation to the height of the shelter.
